PERSONALIZED FITNESS AND PHYSICAL THERAPY THAT COMES TO YOU
ABOUT ME
I am a qualified and experienced Physical Therapist and fitness lover who has been helping clients regain their health and wellness since 2000. I became passionate about helping women with pregnancy and postpartum recovery after my own 2 month bedrest and C-section delivery of twins. I have worked with young athletes in the orthopedic PT setting for years, but over the last 10 years I have enjoyed training my sons for their sports and local athletes to improved performance.

SERVICES
Whether you visit me for a one-time treatment or a longer course of action, I make sure my clients play an active role in their recovery and growth so they can remain active or progress once treatment ends. As a certified Physical Therapist, I provide clients with a strength program that is specialized to their body's history. I take into account past injuries, current conditions, age and goals. I specialize in pregnancy/postpartum rehabilitation, the growing athlete and physical therapy that comes to you.
WELLNESS AND STRENGTH COACHING
Most growing athletes are busy with school and practice. Most are also looking for that edge over their competition. This is not going into the gym and lifting heavily. I teach athletes how to strengthen safely and prevent injury. I hear your story and take a detailed history. To that end, I create an individualized wellness plan including sport specific strength training aimed at achieving the goals we set together.
PHYSICAL THERAPY AT HOME OR ON-SITE
Are you too busy to make it into the PT clinic for treatment? This is for the person looking for the convenience and privacy of being treated in your home or office. I take the time to understand the root of your problem in order to provide the best and most effective treatment. Through my 20 years of experience, I’ve found that daily work is a crucial part of the recovery process. From day #1 I give you the tools to start taking care of you.
TOTAL PELVIC CARE
Whether you are pregnant or post-delivery, have pelvic pain or incontinence I can help you find your solution. My passion is helping women successfully rehabilitate their body following delivery and find a fitness routine that fits their lifestyle and goals. Often this critical part of recovery is missed as moms are "cleared by their MD" at the 6 weeks check up. I believe every mom should have access to a pelvic floor consultation following delivery to ensure a sound recovery, but the postpartum period can be very busy. That is why I can come to you! At your home or virtually-through a Telehealth appointment.

FOAM ROLLER
There are lots of different types of foam rollers. I prefer the white ones that are 36" because you can stretch, roll and do core work with it better. It's also a little giving so muscles don't resist the rolling as much. Here's an example on Amazon.
THERMOPHORE HEATING PAD
No heating pad gets hotter than the Thermophore pad – designed to provide intense penetrating moist heat for maximum comfort and pain relief. This heating pad is big enough to cover the whole back or if you have pelvic pain, can wrap through saddle area. Hand-held on/off switch for safe heating without burns.
THE STICK ROLLER
Helps to improve strength, flexibility and endurance by rapidly preparing muscles for physical activity. Handy for people who can't use a foam roller. Primarily for use on legs.
PELVIC HEALTH-DILATORS AND PELVIC WAND
Intimate Rose Silicone Vaginal Dilators were designed by a pelvic floor health physical therapist and are made from a smooth, body safe, medical grade silicone that's 100% BPA free and designed to glide into the vaginal opening for more comfortable use.
Not only are the Intimate Rose vaginal dilators more comfortable and easier to use, but they are also the only ones trusted by the American Physical Therapy Association.
CROSSOVER SYMMETRY
Born from science. Developed by top sports physical therapists, athletes and coaches. The Crossover Symmetry exercises are designed to mirror the functional patterning of sport specific movements. They target common deficiencies and muscle imbalances to improve movement and athletic performance.
